A broke Russian farmer finds a stash of Nazi gold on his land. He can’t keep that secret for long and soon has to go on an involuntary road trip, while being chased by the corrupt mayor of his home town and the Russian mafia who of course all want to get their hands on that gold.
On his way through the post-Soviet Russian countryside he meets a lot of quirky characters and loses all the gold, but finds something much more precious … (is it friendship? more gold??).
